Hi ya Roger,

This is Kurt Kemp,

I was in Marianna in 1964 and had the displeasure of going to the White House twice. Although I didn't get beat as you did I none the less, I got my share of whacks. The first time was 10 and for smoking. The next was 20 for disrespect. I can truly relate to you on the abuse that went on there as I have seen it first hand. I want to thank you for bringing this to the attention of the world. I will try to write more as I too have a story to tell. I was in Tyler cottage and my house father was a Mr. Smith.
